whew! great movie.... they didnt sound cheesy. unlike other movies set in the past where they would try so hard to make everything sound poetic and ancient. hehehe... favoirite quotes:
"spartans, lay down your weapons! <whoosh.. spear> persians, come and get them!"
"our arrorws will block out the sun.... THEN WE FIGHT IN THE SHADE!"
"they look thirsty... then lets give them something to drink..."

guys and girls, I just watched the movie the third time today but in IMAX version.. all I can say is "AMAZING"
it's just like watching a different movie altogether.. imagine that..
so if you have the access and the moolah, try try try to watch this movie in IMAX and I tell you, it's all worth it. :mrgreen:

Aside from the comic book (which is a spoiler already), I recommend you view 300 spartans - an older version of this movie. I didn't read to comic book but it seems that Frank Miller added more characters to make it more interesting.

sorry to disappoint dex.... it is what to expect from a version made in the 60's. to think u downloaded it, im sori. i saw it in DVD.

but the movie could one of the basis frank miller came upon to make a comic version of the historic event.
