yes they did, its the same melody. maybe they did it on purpose maybe they didnt, who knows. all i know is they write mediocre songs with mediocre lyrics. i dont know why people(mostly emo high school kids) are crazy about them. when that song by hale is played manically on the radio i doubt if thats their song playing or switchfoots. i hate both bands by the way, but hate hale to a certain more degree. hahaha.

copying a melody is entirely different from being influenced by another band/artist. mostly, when you're influenced, you either generate the same sound(effects), and do tinkering to the artist's songs and somehow you adapt and innovate the songwriting. but you wouldnt know that would you?

Hale is just a fad, their songwriting is weak ang they're too overrated(maybe because of the vocalist's face). they won't release other songs coz they dont make good songs in the first place.

haha, insecure lagi, ahahhaa. btw, ayaw i underestimate ang power ang dagway sa miyembro sa banda, halos tanan akong mga kaila babay ganahan hale kay tungod sa vocalista, bisag wa silay paki sa music, di man gali sila maminaw gyud. superficial man gyud na ang taw by nature, but besides na gyud na sa point, ang music importante, kung ganahan mo sa ila crappy music, cge go, enjoy, basta ako, naa pay daghan worth paminawon sa kalibutan, labi na ang mga karaan... haahhaa
