Full Time Virtual Assistant - Performance Analysis (Tennis)
(Home Office 1 staff needed)

This position involves extensive match analysis and is concerned with coding the data to support the performance outcomes of Australia’s high performance players and coaches.

Possible work schedule: 7AM - 4PM (Manila Timezone)

Skill(s) / Requirements

High level of analytical skill.
High level interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain partnerships.
Able to set priorities, plan work programs and meet deadlines in a results oriented environment.
Excellent IT knowledge and experience including multimedia skills, hardware and broad ranging software abilities.
Experience in using web environments to research and gather data in sport.
Knowledge of tennis science and the sport’s rules.
Experience working in a high performance sport (desirable).
Postgraduate studies in Sport Science, Human Movement and/or equivalent. Alternatively, the willingness and ability to acquire this level or equivalent (desirable).
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, observe confidentiality and use discretion and initiative.
Well organized with an attention to detail.
Able to work independently as well as successfully in a team environment, contributing to team cohesiveness.
Logical and efficient approach to systems design.
Proven ability to deal with adversity and challenging environments in a calm and orderly manner.
Passion for sport.

Responsibilities

Code Matches set out by Performance Analysis Coordinator
Support Australian coaches with the review and development of the in-game performance of Australian players.
Support Australian coaches with the review of the in-game performance of opponents of Australian players.
Complies with Tennis Australia’s OH&S policies and procedures
Takes reasonable care for the safety of his/her own health and safety and that of other people who may be affected by their conduct in the workplace
Seeks guidance for all new or modified work procedures to ensure that any hazardous conditions, near misses and injures are reported immediately to the Manager
Participates in meetings, training and other environment, health and safety activities
Does not willfully place at risk the health or safety of any person in the work place
Does not willfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interest of environment health and safety or welfare
Cooperates with Tennis Australia in relation to activities taken by TA to comply with OH&S and environmental legislation.
Participate in Return to Work Programs, as required to, across the organization.
