kayak domain 1st descent of tagoloan river last feb. 6, 2011. we started at maribojoc of barangay natumolan, tagoloan, misamis oriental, mindanao, philippines. the put-in is about 10km upstream from tagoloan river. we only paddle 7.5km from put-in for about 1hr & 30min because the river is not technical. class 1-2 rapids only. ideal for beginner kayakers.

I tried my 1st Kayaking in Sumilon Island. Sa Lagoon, but it was toO easy for me kay stable man ang water. I want to take it to the next level, kay nlingaw jud ko! If mu-adto kog CDO for kayaking, inclusive na ang package sa EQUIPMENT? ?_?

way labot ang food...inclusive na ang kayak, helmet, PFD, paddle, spraydeck and transport to/from your hotel (or divisoria).

Kabula last rapids before the Kabula take-out/put-in. Nice viewing of paddlers on this rapids is at the Makahambus Cave "verandah". Just a tiny cave at the end there is a verandah.

We stop over at Guadalupe Shrine. From Brgy. Balubal to Guadalupe Shrine (about 6km) it took us about 4.5 hrs because of the degree of difficulty. From Guadalupe Shrine to Brgy Agusan (about 4km) it only took us 45 minutes because it an easy route.

International Buhagay Rapids, Tignapoloan, Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, 3 Mar 2011



This is the reaction after rafting through the International Buhagay Rapids. A Class 4 or 4+ rapids along Cagayan River.

The Bugsay rafting guides were elated and smiling like kids because none of the two rafts flipped on the famous rapids. While the guest were shocked and very quiet because they thought that the Extreme Rafting run is easy.

This was named International Buhagay rapids because one time during the first few runs on this section an International group of overseas tourist flipped their raft in one of a few series of holes and they "Buhagay" (scattered) like broken pieces of glass everywhere.

Don't book for extreme rafting if you cannot swim and a good paddler.
