brian_d, Glenn Minerva imo pasabot? I always thought he has been with CNMS since the start, around July to December 1995?

Manman simply had what was he was due - he has been cheating the university since he was with the CompE Dept pa. They should have put the guy to jail. Natarong lang ang CEAC pag si Tata Lao na ang nipuli.

And ow, LORD_VAMPIRE, i don't think everyone at USC's CompE department sucks. The newbs/fresh grad faculty, with zero industry experiece siguro. But definitely not their present head, Joe Mari Maja. Probably one of the most intelligent guys I know - with a matching Ph D in A.I. from Tohoku University, one of the best science universities in Japan pa to boot!

LORD_VAMPIRE, ako course BS Electrical Engineering - the only computer course i had in college was intro to C programming and logic gates - this didn't stop me from studying on my own though. so mas swerte pa ka nako kay CompE gyud ka.

kung mu-kugi lang ka ug tuon, im sure you can make it good in web programming also.

I know Glenn Minerva. No comment na lang ko about Man-man and alleged whatever. Basta, all I can say is that he is a very good mentor/motivator. I've learned a lot from him and all these am applying at my current work.

Hahay, I miss those CNMS days. Pero ana gyud ang life.

Btw, that's the big problem I think with Comp. E curriculum. Because virtually very little of what is taught will actually be applied in the real setting. So zero knowledge gyud ig enter sa work force. Mao gani naa'y advantage to'ng ex-CNMS guys coz they got prior exposure.

Angugal, you seem to know a lot about CNMS. Na curious lang ko. hehehe [br]Date Posted: October 20, 2005, 05:35:41 PM_________________________________________________N ope, am refering to another Glenn. It's Glenn P. not Glenn Minerva.

Some of them are working as web developers in various IT firms in Cebu.

Thing is, if you really come to think of it, for a single individual, withholding tax would be around 22-25% of your gross pay. BIR is getting that amount then everytime we buy something from the department store and other commercial establishments, naa pa jud na 10% VAT. Meaning, its just like 32-35% ako gibayad sa BIR.

OK lang for companies who allow payroll pading and makabuot ka pila imo basis for withholding tax but for companies who are honest tax payesr, makunsumisyon ka everytime you see mga bugoy na govt. officials. You are paying them to do curroption!. Tabi-tabi po, bato bato sa langit and tamaan wag magalit. POV lang ni nako mga peeps.

I work for an IT company.
