If it's Christian God, it's a shortcoming on your part because buddhism, Hinduism don't believe in Christian God - do they belong to the same group as Atheists?

it's complicated. it has something to do with paradoxes. anyway, i think i said "the god of the church" not the god in the bible.

being a Theosophist, you're not really required to believe in a God. as long as you believe in the Universal Brotherhood, and as long as you do not impose your beliefs on others.

sa ako lang ha. i'd say yes, all religionists tend to classify those who don't believe in their God as atheists. ma-among sad mi na dili atheists but refuse to believe in their anthropomorphic God. and some self-proclaimed atheists who have a disappointment in the church or in the anthropomorphic God, would declare God does not exist because He broke my heart and so and so. IMO, they have decided to become atheists for the wrong reasons (i.e. masama ang loob), now that's just plain baduy. IMO, (please don't be offended sir), there is NO true atheist. their very existence trying to argue there is no God, just builds the case for the existence of a God or a Supreme Being. where would there focal point for God's non-existence be, if not for the very concept of God just the same right? they may consider themselves as atheists, but they will STILL need God for which to try to disbelieve in His non-existence.

unfortunately i did not become an atheist for such reasons like "biblegod broke my hart" chuvaness.
i'm only reverting to my DEFAULT mode. theist's claims about their god are insufficient/inadequate...hence, i'm not ASSUMING there is one or many god/s.

...and i am merely questioning the basis of those CLAIMS. i'm not in any way disproving god/s here.
