unsaon ta man gusto man sila mo apil ug kaon sa pie nga wa man sila motabang pagbuhat just like city of talisay. kadtong gi luto pa way ganahan mo apil, kadtong ting-pakals na daghan na gusto mo apil.

Well for now that is a fact...the Garcias are now more powerful than the Osmena's when you talk of Cebu province, with the City if Tom's loses his grip anybody can take over.

Proof of the Garcia Power: Why does all possible presidential candidates play nicey-nicey to Gwen whenever the come to Cebu? Erap, Mar Roxas, Villar, Loren and all the rest who came here always made sure they had at least one dinner party with Gwen....and not all of them did so with the Mayor...because they know its Garcias who can give them more votes from the Cebuanos...this only proves that for now the Garcias are loved more by the people of Cebu.

Any politician cannot please everyone, there will alway be the disgruntled citizens....and they are the ones who make "kiyawkiyaw"....and for now ang nag kiyawkiyaw dili pa majority as proven in the elections which just proves the Garcias are still on the right track!

well, u have to know first kinsa ang nanghilabot ug una. was it Tom or Gwen? Surely it was not Gwen.

kanang isyu ni Pablo bahin sa SRP, it is just recent. u have to dig other old issues to include the Ciudad project, the Fuente Osmena, the Cebu Zoo, or perhaps even the Asiatown IT Park.

The main issue here is what is right...did the SRP actually have a hole in the contract w/ FLI? was it Constitutional in not letting the Cebu Province participate in the SRP projects? we have to be sure about this coz it not only involves the financial risk taken by the City but also involves the whole of Cebu and future of our children and our children's children.

and about the CICC and lamp post scandal, ga cge paman ug imbestigar. what is not right about that? nga wa naapil sa Gwen sa kaso? ky ngano man diay, is there any evidence at all that she is involved? I don't think so...

that questioning the credibility of Sun.Star is only a matter of your own opinion that cannot be shared and agreed by everybody.

do not downplay on what the OTOP programs have benefited micro and small scale industries like I have. OTOP is a NATIONAL program of the Office of the President. Insulting OTOP is insulting all micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that partaked in that program...

One Town One Product (OTOP) Philippines is a priority program of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to promote entrepreneurship and create jobs. Through OTOP, local chief executives of each city and municipality take the lead in identifying, developing and promoting a specific product or service, which has a competitive advantage.

OTOP Philippines supports micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to manufacture, offer and market distinctive products or services through the use of indigenous raw materials and local skills and talents.

    OTOP GAINING GROUNDS IN RP
    12/14/2007

About a thousand small-to-medium-entrepreneurs (SMEs) and Local Government Unit (LGU) representatives attended the 1st National One-Town-One-Product or OTOP Summit that was held at the Philippine Trade and Training Center in Manila recently.

Ex-Governor Morihiko Hiramatsu of Oita Prefecture, Japan who is also known as THE FATHER OF OTOP spoke on how they revitalized their "Isson-Ippin-Undo" or the One Village-One Product Movement and how they gained high praises both in Japan and overseas for their unique trade activities.

A 1995 recipient of Ramon Magsaysay Award for Government Service, Hiramatsu surprised the summit participants when he illustrated how a simple product such as Shitake mushroom can become more profitable than manufacturing a motor car mentioning the top car maker in Japan as his basis.

Stressing the need for quality maintenance and consistency in the delivery of good products and services, Hiramatsu also presented key factors to a successful entrepreneurship and that is the abundance of raw materials and labor force to mention a few.

CORRECT!!!! Hasta pud ang Sunstar, no matter what you can never put a good paper down!!!! The Garcias sometimes have issues with their editorial staff kay unayon man gani....SunStar does no fear the Garcias, the Osmenas and all other names in politics whatsoever.

The only people who don't like SunStar are the ones who left SunStar for "the other paper" thinking they will be in a better position only to find out otherwise...and off course di na dawaton sa SunStar....
