wi-max will depend ghapon sa source... if ang source is kusog mas maau cya... nice ani wi-max if 1 community or 1 town mo din naa mo sorce na ksog din mka wi max mo... try to visit liloan cebu nka set up na ila wi max with in sa pob i tnk din hopefully whole town mag wi-max cla....ambot nag argao na unsa na ila wi-max...

I think the one in Lilo-an is a community wi-fi, i don't think they are using WiMax na...

In theory, WiMax is able to deliver up to 70Mbps over a 9 kilometer radios...while WiFi is 50Mbps at 150 feet.

@romatic_guy08: bro kami nag taod dha sa wi max sa liloan... kana naa sa ila gawas sa plaza its a wi max... wala na cla wi fi dha... the antena ila g use is capable of 25km radius( not so sure depende sa klase sa antena) with out interference meaning from sight to sight... kta ka ana ila antena dha sa taas sa municpyo mura box mao na cya... u can ask sa mga IT dha sa liloan....mag depende gahpon ang mbps sa ila source bro... ex if mag kuha cla linya sa PLDT na kato baratohon syempre ang mo gawas sad ana hinay ang cgnal....
mas mukosg pa gyud na cya if mag atbang ang duha ka antena....

aok... mao lge bro ang sgnal mg depende rasad sa provider man... so far noon ksog2 gyud ang liloan wireless... they are planning mn na whole municipality is wireless na... hope na madayon na...
