I admire this people. Mormons or not.
They show humility.
They walk when they have dollars to spend on luxury cars.

I remeber when I was 12.
My mother goes to church with her new Gemeni SL and on the next Sunday with her Chevrolet pickup and on the next Sunday her Ford Fiera and on the next, Volkswagen.
She was just trying to show off how many cars she got.

But at that age when I go to the same church as her, I walked.
From Minglanilla to Tabunok I walked.
When she asks me why I have to walk when we have a car to ride to church,
I replied--- it is the only thing I can offer to God.
I walk to give my own sacrifice.
For all the things God gave me.

We should not judge the Mormons or question their actions.
They could be doing it as a sacrifice for God.

OT: very good point Soul Doctor. My mom too was kinda like that (but not with cars). I wish I was that precocious as you are when I was 12 years old.

Thats what I understand from reading the Bible.
It is all about sacrifice.

Another "friend" comes to Touchpoint(Ayala cinema one) on Sundays.
I see him carrying a bag.
After the service we were on our way out, I asked him, "di ba catholic ka?"
