    My bad, gi-discontinue na diay sa sandisk cruizer ang lock feature nila. I still have mine at home so I thought naa pa, but when cliff_drew mentioned it akong gi-search and wa na jud diay, mostly individual file and folders na lang ang ma-encrypt. Nindot unta to sauna kay if di jud mo mount ang main partition sa cruizer mini if di ka mo-enter password thru sa built-in software niya nga naa sa 1st partition nga mo mount as 1.44 floppy. So far wa na ko nakit-an other drives nga naa ing-ani nga features, 3PPs na lang. =( I bought my sandisk 2003 pa, hehe. Been using truecrypt na gud so wa na ko use for it...

    If gusto naa password inyong usb itself jud without using any software. Just use UMPTool to format it and put password on it.

    Once you plug-it in sa usb port mo request siya dayun password.
    Gamay ra ang supported USB ani pero kingston, kingmax tested na. Bali low formatter ni nga software.

    still the answer is no... there is no such thing to put password on your USB ecrypting maybe... password protect... no!!

    beside...

    are you sure? try accessing a usb flash drive encrypted with truecrypt, let's see if you can do it. how about accessing a drive encrypted with rohos mini disk? or a drive encrypted with freeOTFE? majority of encrypting softwares use passwords in securing the drive, there is no sense in what you said:

    @cliff_drew:

    there is such a thing as a password-protected usb. use google and you'll know that you are wrong.
