if they say na solid unix does that mean na expert jud ka bout ana na OS? or mga basic lang? lisura sad if mangita silag master sa unix then master sad sa windows.. hmmmm important ba na naa ka deep knowledge sa database? dba pang developer raman na? hmmmm

  7. #77
In my own idea about SOLID UNIX not necessarily mean nga expert gyud ka but kinahanglan gyud nga well-versed ka sa OS. You have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in a production environment (ISP, Data Center, Large/Medium company and maybe sa mga gagmay) from installation, administration, writing scripts, system analysis and tuning og uban pa.

As a System Administrator you have to wear many HATS. Na-ay gyuy mga company mangita og "master ka ani, master sad ka ani". It could be an advantage for you kai maka demand man kag higher salary.

It is also important nga na-a kai knowledge about Database particularly installing and administration though na-ay Database developer pero kinahanglan man gyud mo mag coordinate.
