in digital you can take a thousand photos and still suck

in film you spend about 500 pesos on 36 bad photos and you learn pretty quickly

Also, the excitement (and frustration) while waiting for your roll to be developed is what I like about film photography.

I've read somewhere that film has more dynamic range compared to digital (but I don't know if compared with today's new sensors) and you'll have no problem regarding White Balance (only color casts as what koto told me).

You'll still have to think about white balance. Each fill is balanced
for a certain light: daylight, tungsten, florescent, etc...

Color cast is what you get when shooting in light the film is not
balanced to. Unlike in digital, where you can switch white balance
settings at a push of a button, you'll have a hard time changing
different film types mid-roll... unless you're shooting medium format
where you can just switch film backs easily.

So what film shooters do instead is have color correction filters
they either put on their lens...

    ...or light...

    ...to balance things out.

The people in the labs developing your film make color corrections too.
Watch the person on the machine as he/she goes through your roll.

Most everything I've seen available here though is just daylight balanced film
which may be why you were told not to worry about it.

ako first na gikuha ang girl then ang flower. ang wla nako gibuhat dire kay wla nako gi underexposed ang second na shot so normal lang siya base sa light meter sa cam. sa imong question I think the other way around. firstcomefirstserve siguro ang 2nd na shot ang mu overlay sa una. hahaha i really don't know.
