MUSE first got the attention (as always when a U.K. band hits it big in the U.S.) with the late 2003 release of Absolution. Murag 2004 man tingali to nga sige ug ipatukar sa NU ang "Time Is Running Out". Now they're all over MTV with their futuristic-effects laden album and I still stole my voice from Thom Yorke singing of guitarist Matthew Belammy....hmmmmm.

p.s. MATT almost killed himself during a festival in UK ( V or Reading ba to nga festival? ) when he did a whirlwind-trick with his guitar tht almost choke him to death living him bloodied all over.

minaw ko ani nila since katong origin of symmetry na album.. hehe.. for me, absolution[?] nila.. (mao bah?) katong naay 'time is running out' gani.. although dili tanan na kanta akong ganahan.. katong 'stockholm syndrome' na last song syndrome to nako for weeks.. wahehe.. wala pajud kaayo nako na decipher ang kanang latest album..

well, every muse album has its own merits and flaws pero para nako ang mga karaang album medyo experimental - in a sense nga maglisud pa pagdigest ang utok sa kanta. ang latest nila nga album kay experimental gihapon(e.g. dabbling with funk/disco/danceable tune as sampled on the song "super massive blackhole") but in an ear-friendly sense.

Like most people.. I started with ABSOLUTION tungod sa track nga TIME IS RUNNING OUT .. pag paminaw gyud nako sa uban kanta, I was hooked. Nindot ug style... nindot ug arrangement ang mga kanta and most importantly.. HASKANG NGILNGIGA SA DRUMMER.

Saw them diri sa NY a few weeks ago ... great show, maayo mo dala ang vocalist ug show..
