.. absolutely. These "crabs" want a world where everything is perfect, wake up, you can only see that in pocket books. Superpower nations also is having a hard time eradicating their poverty problems. And these " crabs " wants INSTANT CHANGE . Wake up. Development doesnt happen overnight.

.. can you see my point here You have to do something in order to achieve something and you must have patience. These crabs are the typical juan tamad . Our country is improving, gradually, all we can do is help out whatever we can and be patient.

a little is better than nothing. one step at a time. so be patient....

why can't people just stop pointing fingers of who caused the country's so called demise. it is what is and nothing we can do about the past, but each person can help rebulid the future one way or another. whining just don't get you anywhere.

It will be better to just support Gloria because i am sure she knows what is good for the country. Any President cannot function without the people's support. I'm sure she has done good. Each President is different even with their working styles and agenda but generally they look at the bigger picture and outcome. They want positive results. Its like saying its not what you do to get there, its how you arrived. The problem with Pinoys is more talk less walk. If everybody works together for a common good and cause, i'm sure there's positive results. But how can that be possible when people dont even support their own President. The most important thing is love and loyalty for your country and help your President so that she can in turn function in her own job and bring out progress to those critical areas that must be given priority.

    From http://www.ees.net.nz/forex.htm

If your business does regular international business, you may implement a "hedging" strategy. This can be done in many ways, typically a business will buy a year's worth of foreign currency at a set rate. Whatever is the rate, it prevents fluctuations in a currency to affect the budget of the business.

Sa wala mo kasabot about foreign exchange, better study Economics 101. Ahh wait, there is no economics for commies. No?

So walay pulos manghinambug anang 49+++ nga value sa peso because the effects will be felt in, do I hear you right? 5 years?

The currency fluctuates every day are you sure peso will remain 49++++ in 5 years?

    yehey!!!

The term 1st world, 2nd world and 3rd world is a cold war relic. After World War II, the three worlds model gained currency as a way of categorizing countries. Explains Nations Online, in the aftermath of the war, the world split into two large geopolitical blocs and spheres of influence with contrary views on government and the politically correct society.

The bloc of democratic-industrial countries within the American sphere of influence became known as the First World. The Eastern bloc of the communist-socialist states, on the other hand, was referred the Second World.

The remaining three-quarters of the world’s population, states not aligned with either bloc were regarded as the Third World. The term was first coined by a French demographer, Alfred Sauvy, in 1954 to describe the people of the world that are “unknown, exploited, and scorned.” (A third category, “Fourth World,” was coined in 1974 to refer to the poorest Third World countries that have “lagged behind” and still lack industrial infrastructure.)

So if we will follow Glue-ria's declaration that we are now in the 2nd world, KOMUNISTA NA DIAY TA!

Under Arroyo, the country’s per capita income has grown to its present level from $1,040 in 2000 and $1,200 in 2004. As a measure of the wealth of the nation (in GDP terms) based on the income share of its citizens, per capita income however does not give an indication of the income distribution in the country — which has remained uneven as evidenced by widespread poverty.

But for Arroyo to refer to the country as “Second World” is quite a curiosity. In the first place, using the terms “First World,” Second World” and “Third World” harks back to the outdated model of the geopolitical world from the time of the cold war.

She’s a third-rate ‘president’ who doesn’t know that ‘Second World’ refers to communist countries,” says Charmaine Ramos, a development economist at the Institute for Popular Democracy.

She should have known better given the following:

    Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo
    President of the Philippines
    Born: April 5, 1947

Daughter of the late Philippine President Diosdado Macapagal, Macapagal-Arroyo graduated from Assumption College in the Philippines, holds a master’s degree in economics from Ateneo de Manila University, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of the Philippines

tsk tsk tsk... the irony of having a PHD on Economics.. Who is she trying to impress?! Or who is she trying to fool in the same manner!

Kun dili lang unta mag samok samok nang uban diha, dili mag gubot2x sa gobyerno, and everyone will support the goverment (kang Gloria man o kang kinsa), mas stable unta ang atong peso. A lot will change if the peso remains stable, and yes its true, it will take years for the effects to be felt.

If i hear you right, if you can't wait for 5 years, then you are being impatient. Mura na kag ni higop ug sabaw bag-o pang ga bukal.

I think the president was referring to this index:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Development_Index

Rather than the more popular "Second World" used to represent communist countries.
