The simple rough formula to calculate your daily KWH (kilowatts)

1. take your current light bill
2. divide it by 30.5 (avg days in a month)
3. this will tell you your daily usage

*note: Assuming your greatest usage time would be during evening hours, the energy stored in your batteries earlier is best maximized during this time.
