17 years of typing and clicking here. No carpal tunnels, no injury, no eyesight damage.
All it takes is that you need to be comfortable in what you're doing. Way gamit ang mahalon na mouse if ang mouse dako ra kaayo para nimo, or ang imong mechanical na keyboard dili ka comfortable sa key arrangement.
Poor posture is trivial. Some people feel comfortable when slouching, some people find it a bitch to sit erect 90 degrees upward. When people tell you slouching is bad, tell them to get the f--k out. It's about comfort, not rules. Tan-awa pa gani ang #1 ani nga article 7 Basic Things You Won't Believe You're All Doing Wrong | Cracked.com
And oh, about that eyesight thing. My mom tells me that long hours in front of the monitor is bad unfortunately CRT monitors, even flat panels have little to no radiation and I have more periods of using CRT monitors than flat panels. The secret is, good lighting in your room. Most people use their computers in dim lit places and that's bad. For my 17 years of computing, I never do computing in a dark room and that's the secret why I have a better eyesight than someone who is wearing eyeglasses because he/she is reading books. 20/20 gani ang rating sa akong mata![]()

No wonder my eyes are bad because I always use the desk lamp as my source of light! The desk lamp only light the keyboard and mouse area. Is that good to go? Or should I use the fluorescent light?
@bliss: much better if the light is above you. fluorescent light will do.
