it is because you do not understand how filth and wretched you are before a just and Holy God! do you think your meditation and good works will save you? What is now the basis of your salvation and to what degree will you consider a person as being saved?

Jesus alone is the one who qualified to withstand the justice of the wrath of God to be poured out upon sinners!

..and it is because your concept of a God is totally different from the God of the bible!
