@YJOB I really think this thread should be moved to Humor section too Nko ka rum8 gurl cge sya tan aw and smile nko dn magshort ra rba og mubo I dont know why it's been in general discussion when the thread and it's TS can be considered a "humor" already. They fit in that category and the posts are hilarious so I'm wondering why it hasn't been moved there yet.

Ang mga perpetual threads pa ang gisiguro nako move, kanang mga "unsa'y buhaton nimo ugma" style topics.
Kay kung apilon na nako ang mga threads para sa gimention nimo it's quite hard to draw a line between nonsense and not so nonsense he he, bitaw nagkatag na na sila diha, masuko raba imo badlungon.

There is a reason why such threads exist because it is in the GENERAL CHIT CHAT FORUMS .

This is the venue for topics na as NONSENSE as they are , some people may take something out of it . It could be someones else trash but another ones treasure pod .

As long as naa sa guidelines gihapon then there is no problem at all with it . Walay ga pugong sa mga tao mo biya sa iSTORYA.net much more mo hawa because in the first place , wala man sad na sila gi invite sa forums mo anhi . They came here VOLUNTARILY and from their own feewill . Maybe maka conduct ug business , meet new online friends , learn something , kill time etc . So if mo hawa sila , the door is really wide open for them and walay mo pugong nila . iSTORYA.net didnt become this big , survived for the last 9 years because of those people you are talking about na mo hawa na or mo balhin .

@YJOB I understand. I just dont get the point why its there and what things we can get from it. How bout increasing the number of posts before someone can create a thread?

I get your point @springfield but if majority of the people just don't feel there's treasures in that thread and only a handful of them can find it and majority of those people empty handed or not so happy with that thread is already making it a mess or a living hell, calling people names and cursing, do you think there are still treasures?
If you let people post threads because of their treasures and we just let them coz this is "general discussion", i think this section will be chaotic - no order and just anything.

yeah you are not forcing anyone to stay or sign up here. But for me, you can entice a lot of people if the feedback of this site are mostly positive. I'd want friends and officemates to give positive feedbacks but all i hear from them are negative stuff..

More members = more customers and profit for the businessmen here.

That is why there is a report button where when a member feels he or she is being violated then he or she can report .

Do you really think MODS clicks all the threads and looks for violations , nonsense threads , someone to give infraction to or whatsoever ? That is impossible , its random . There is a reason why a MOD is being assigned to that certain sub forum . For example sa akong side ... I am assigned to POLITICS , GEN CHITCHAT , SPORTS because these are forums where topics and threads are made and I can relate to them so I will know which is nonsense and which makes sense .

When you made that suggestion about transferring "Nko ka rum8 gurl cge sya tan aw and smile nko dn magshort ra rba og mubo" , I didnt bother transferring it , instead I deleted it because I find the contents purely NONSENSE . Now do you really think if you didnt say somethign about ma aware ko or the other mods ?

Lastly ... it is hard to speculate that MAJORITY of the people are already involved . If that is the case then it is CHAOTIC ... do you really find GENERAL CHIT CHAT SUB FORUM a CHAOTIC place to hang out ? YES or NO ra na .

Members come and go . Ive seen members na latagaw since day 1 when I became a member . That was 6 years ago , pero nothing changed except it is getting bigger . What is funny though , all you hear from your associates are negative stuffs here and why are you still here ? Are you supposed to be exiting now ? I dont think so because you still find something here that makes sense to you , favors your interest and likes and most of all still great for you despite of the NEGATIVITY of your colleagues .

How would you know na its a not a treasure for them to start with ? You dont have to shut up , I am also learning from you although OT anga tong discussion .

I just cant help it because you are not getting the point like karon , you divert now na you dont like the thread . Why in the world are you not liking it ? There should be no reason why you wont like it because it is not CHAOTIC at all but if its for the mere reason na you find it NONSENSE then thats for you to say and still be valued pero the irony is , why are you subcsribing in here ?

MODERATORS are not perfect . We should be working together to achieve our goals which is to have a forum that is worth our time to interact . Aside from that , EVALUATING the mods can show the STENGHTS and WEAKNESSES of us and that would trigger us to do better next time . Make sure lang na dili on a personal level ang pag criticized .

i dont like this thread and not the whole istorya.
im sure everyone who makes their own thread thinks their thread is a treasure and when they make one they are anticipating attention and replies. like what Ive reported to you, the way he made that stupid (sorry for the word) title will make everyone click it and reply. eventhough it was crap and nonsense, i was a little surprised a mod was actually supporting ts and even said it has sense and helpful to the public.
no offense, but if we allow these people to post more of those stuff and make them feel their threads are their treasures then i dont know...lol

anyway, ive already started helping by reporting some threads. in just 5mins 2 have been closed down.lol I took just a couple of mins for a mod to cater my request. so im impressed.

im starting to feel the uptightness of some of the moderators. i made a thread earlier about getting promoted from a being a junior to a senior member, asking how long it took people to become a senior member. then poof, it was gone. i message the staff who i thought did something about the thread. he told me it was moved to staff folder etc. and he suggested i put those kind of threads in the humor section. for real? some people here are just plain a$%holes. and yeah, its potterboy. kiat lang ka
