You want coincidences? Try to check Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy....coincidence or something more?

    1982 after 3 years, 1985 the after 3 years 1988

    3 + 3 = 6 people = died of mysterious deaths

pol - ter - geist = is a three syllable world

all of the six actors died before the release of POLTERGEIST 3

    2 movies release = Poltergeist 1 and 2

    3rd movie x 2 release movies = 6 deaths (actors)

    3
    3
    3

    x

    2

= 666 = basically the movie is more associated with EVIL which resulted to the deaths of their actors/actresses

Yaiks! are we going there now? first of all, I refuse to believe that the number 6 is in actuality, the devil's number. It was just the Church's black propaganda against pagans who advocated the number 6 as the most powerful number.

Secondly, two of the six who died actually died at the ages 87 (Beatrice Straight) and 91 (Geraldine Fitzgerald). They are even lucky to reach that age!

Julian Beck (died when he was already 60yo) already knows that he has stomach cancer even before he accepted the role.

Anti-Christ Conspiracy? The site is even poorly created, poorly researched, and has no credibility at all.

Instead of amusing yourself with silly movies and video games, it will do you right to dig history. Its actually fun. You will learn a lot of stuff and understand certain superstition like how the "friday the 13th" becomes bad luck.

    Perhaps this will help....

What does it tell you when a woman dances in the woods naked? Witches?

But the truth is, its a pagan way of praying to their god of fertility.

The star inside a circle (pentagon)...isn't it used in Hollywood and the church as the symbol of evil (witchcraft)?

The star and the circle is a symbol of Venus, a pagan female deity.

The horned beast that resembles the goat's head...another symbol the Church wants as to believe as the Devil?

The goat's head that we see so often in movies is actually pagan's God of fertility.

And so is the number 6. Paganism's most powerful number.

ANd when did they all surfaced? When the Church instituted the "Great Witch Hunt of Europe", they used these signs to identify witches. Persecuted them, through burning in the stakes or drowning. And these signs were used by the Church (Malleus Maleficarum) to identify witches when in actuality, they were merely pagans (people with a different religion that honors their own deity). These people (thousands of them) died in the hands of the Church and their only crime was that they were not Christians.

Malleus Maleficarum became the most influential and widely used handbook on witchcraft. ... Its enormous influence was practically guaranteed, owing not only to its authoritative appearance but also to its extremely wide distribution. It was one of the first books to be printed on the recently invented printing press and appeared in no fewer than 20 editions. ... The moral backing had been provided for a horrible, endless march of suffering, torture, and human disgrace inflicted on thousands of women (and men).

Its authors, Jacob Sprenger and Heinrich Kraemer, were experienced Dominican inquisitors who had burned 48 witches in one diocese alone and had obtained a papal bull approving their mission. Reversing the old principle of the Canon Episcopi, Sprenger and Kraemer proclaimed that not believing in the reality of witches was heresy. "Witches regularly did physical as well as spiritual harm to others", they wrote, and allegiance to the devil defined witchcraft. Sprenger and Kraemer exhorted secular authorities to fight witches by any means necessary. (Sandra Miesel - a Catholic Journalist, in Crisis Magazine)

The Papal Bull, Summis desiderantes affectibus, of Pope Innocent VIII (1484) instigated very severe measures against magicains and witches in Germany; the principles enunciated by him were afterwards embodied in the Malleus Maleficarum (1487). It was him wherein the witch mania was attributed.

An please understand, that paganism might as well be the oldest religion there is. It is way older that the institution of the Church. Before the spaniards came to the Philippines, most Filipinos were even pagans.

Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction (although they have historical basis). I don't think the novel explained the Witch Hunt quite well. I got these ideas from different historical books and sites. I was always been fascinated by history. If you want a more detailed historical explanations and theories that was the basis of Dan Brown's novel, you should read Henry Lincoln's Holy Blood, Holy Grail. It is a non-fiction book. Its quite interesting to read. But the authors didn't dwelve much on the Witch Hunt also. If you want to understand the Witch Hunt, try Paganism or the Dark History of the Witch Hunts of Europe.
