IMHO- I don't think it's feasible in Cebu. And sa franchise alone kulang kaau ang 1M. I heard a few years ago Rustan's got the franchise for 5M U.S. dollars . But I think twas only a rumor cause up to now I don't know if there's a krispy kreme donut shop anywhere in the Phils. Also another factor that's impt to consider - Cebuanos- we're smart shoppers- I won't even venture to say tihik or kuripot. Maybe we'll spend for other items even if it's mahal but not for A doughnut. If ever KK will finally open in the Phils. - it will be very costly for the price of one single donut. But in all fairness- lami jud kaau ilang doughnuts specially the glazed ones. Yummy! But who knows- it might probably happen soon. We'll just have to wait and see !

friend told me that Krispy Kreme Inc had awarded franchise to the Real American Doughnut Inc (Max's). their first store is slated to open on November 15 at The Fort. at least, something to look forward to...

Not really that special for me. After all the rave reviews that I got from others for a few years, KK's didn't live up to the hype. Just expensive glazed donuts, that's all. I think the U.S. grocery stores are carrying them on their shelves now... old donuts = yuck!

I know.... booo for me, huh? Maybe my expectations were "too" high !!

ei guys! the no.1 doughnut in the U.S KRISPY KREME is now available here in the Philippines. however, in manila as of the moment. A dozen of which costs P550. what can u say guys?? still wanna try??
