The scariest experience I had with my Dad when he had his first stroke two years ago.
We had an argument earlier that morning when he sent me off to school.
In the middle of the class, I got a call from my sister that he was already in the hospital.
I left my kids and my work and rushed to the hospital crying.
I went on leave for almost a month coz I was practically by his side first in the ccu to icu then to his private room... The biggest heartache when he was in coma and I kept talking to him so lifeless...
I couldn't imagine living my life without him...
After two strokes, God blessed me with a miracle and gave me back my Dad.
The whole ordeal made me realize how valuable he is to me and how much I love him...

    A humbling experience indeed...

I admit. I'm a daddy's girl and I tend to get everything I want but I'm only spoiled when it comes to my dad. Being a daddy's girl won't apply to my treatment with other people.

I miss the way we treat each other. Now, everything changed. For some reason his perception of me is embedded in his mind. So sad.

hmmm... i'm SOMEWHAT of a "daddy's girl" mainly because we think alike. we have the same philosophies in life, although i'm a bit more ambitious than he is. he doesn't spoil me, but he always gives me really helpful advices and his never-ending support. my dad is someone i RESPECT, LOVE, and FEAR at the same time. hehe
