it depends upon the programmer and the website designer
but as of now as ive known lately in website prize are very affordable now a days
yeah it is also by the pages and the details that you want to stored in your website and also the design
but some website designer prefer the design is free the pages are the one you will pay
more or less a normal cost of website as ive known are Php 3,500 and free design and maximum of 3 pages

but if you really want to build a website on your own theres always a helping website that will teach you basic then step by step until you will reach to the advance mode........

just surf the net and explore
my suggestion site will be ...what else...its everyone's favorite long time ago
    geocities.com

    good luck...

    ah ok

    it depends upon you
then it depends how much it your domain name and
    hosting cost

is it a company or a personal only...??
but if it is a company it is so complicated
but if it is only a personal use you can make your own prize the cheaper is the better for the reason is you can gain more clients to do more websites...

    .......

daghang factors na iconsider. like what gregsin stated.

You also have to consider kung static ba or dynamic ang pages, does it involve any database? who will supply the images? because of these factors, the price becomes variable.

However, back in the late 90's when I was developing sites for companies which were mostly static I was able to charge 15k for 5 pages, images were supplied by the client, the price included scanning and editing of images and HTML+JavaScript. But like what I said, that was then. The prices have considerably gone down.

Basically it all depends on the site software you want.
more features more expensive. I for example charge for each level of the domain starting from the 4th downwards. I charge also for each page features outside of my basic package. Typically i charge a site with 4 levels starting from 30k then each page about 2k each minus its features outside of the basic.
