naa ko puppy 5months den gi inject sya ug anti rabies, aftre gi inject sa anti rabies pila lng ka minutes naai ni butoy or ni burot sa area nga gi inject sa health worker sa brgy, den gi observe namo mga 1week wala jud nawala, mao nga ni ad2 ko sa vet. ang sulti sa vet kai i hot compress lng daw but krn after 1week frm check up, wala gihapon nawala ang burot, akong ask unta kong kinsa naa nahibawan nga para mawala ang borot or unsay dapat buhaton ani.? super worried jud ko, unta naai maka help nko. daghang salamat sa tanan.

salamat sa reply, ang akong puppy kai after sa pag inject 1week pa nko gi dala sa vet ug gi hot compress, krn 1week after napd wala lng gihapon nawala ang burot, gahi bya ang burot. nya felling nko mura ni dako. kuyawan jud ko.

yup ang area ra sa g injectan dapit mao ni burot...after sa pg inject g advisan ko sa vet if ever dw m burot e hot compress lng...mga 2weeks pud to or sobra b4 nwala,,..bt para ma sure dalha nlng s lain vet...

good day! The same thing happened to my Pitbull though the shot was made by a license private vet. She just instructed me to apply hot compress on the swollen area. But I asked her if It's life threatening and she answered in negative. So I did not apply hot compress and just left the swollen area shrunk naturally. Now, it's gone. So, to be fair to the government's vet, your experience could happen to any dogs that are administered by any vets, private or government. The same procedure of applying hot compress would still be recommended. Unless your dog has allergies on certain brand of vaccine.

Very true! It happened to my shih tzu too. And my vet's not from the government also. So let's not be too harsh on government staff. Some of them probably have as much experience (or even more) as private vets.

Ok ra na mawala ra na same pud na sa akong puppy before gipasagdan ra...then na desolve ra after couple of days
But bringing it to the vet maayo pud though it might cost you a little over something that you should be less worried about.
