My relatives happen to come from these areas, natawo ug nagtubo sa maong lungsod, proud nga Cebuano .. I too for one have lived for years in what Clavel would like to call Northern Cebu. Honestly, Clavel is doing this for her own interests and not for us, they're just carving out political terretorial boundaries and not to the best interests of Cebuanos but for their own good, for their own political self preservation.

Let it be known that Cebu province has existed as one since the time of Magellan (and even before known history). Why would we want to change that? Its strength lies in the unity of its people, dividing it simply doesn't make sense.

I'll be returning to Cebu soon and not to some Cebu del Norte as these trapo would like to call it.

sakto gyud ka bay mar tumpak kaayo imo gi sulti. Wala man gani nila na pakita-i ug sign na ni help sila sa ilang lugar na pila na sila ka termino. @istoryador, try to see the other side of the coin... it has never been that way, it is not that only those districts where the gov from are lavished with support it is those other district who refused to accept support. as you can see it is always been a major blow from media if the gov try to visit areas/provinces not under their turf. Ingnon dayon nga baga ug nawong ang gov - bisan dili iya balwarte, magpasekat jud!!! (crab mentality)

sugbuak... sounds good but not so close to be good... wether this province will be divided to six or ten or 12 or 15 or to whatever or remain as it is, as long as these same old "crocodiles" are still holding the helm of power, nothing will change the face of cebu. these crocs who are lobbying for the sugbuak wanted to firm up their "political dynasty" while those legislators and other local executives who objects these bills wanted to protect their "political niche". coz they know that they will be out of the scene once these bills will be enacted. ergo, like an ordinary crocs in rivers, they are teritorial by nature; wants to protect their respective territories. see the similarities of these crocs. they have strong tail ready to pound anything they seem to harm their way and big mouth ready to eat anything whatever comes their way... even a "shit"... they will even try to eat it... as long as they will stay strong within their territory... i don't believe anymore with the political system. run by these ruling families... ARE THEY THE ONLY ONES WHO GOT BRAINS IN THIS PROVINCE... there are more people deserving than these old crocs that can make CEBU province more dynamic economically. these political clans have been their for decades but CEBU is still far from other major Asian cities and provinces until now. do these politicians have the vision of making CEBU as vibrant as Hong Kong or Singapore or Kuala Lumpur or Shanghai or Taipei or Macau or Bangkok or Dubai or Tokyo perhaps? i believe that's none of their objectives in delivering Cebu a place really really worth to live in. they all clamor for chacha and this one, sugbuak, but try look at who are making all these clamors, same old faces... F _ _ K THEM! who benefits all these political changes they are strongly pursuing, am sure it is not Juan dela Cruz......
