i had the chance to work with RC.. wa jud ko kita nga ang kwarta gikan sa ilahang private school mo adto sa mga free schools nga gi manage nila what happened is they use the name of the church and the influence para maka kita ug funds from outside sa nasud like europe. usually mag tukod sila ug organization nga under sa church or congregation then mao ni ilaha gamiton para maka solicit sila sa mga mo fund ug non-profit organization like for farmers, for homeless etc.. dili jud gikan sa ilaha kaban.. usahay mag apil2x pa sa organization para maka kwarata gamay or daku ba kaha hehe...

kung mo ingon to nga non profit it does not mean nga dili jud ta mo hatag or bayad ug kwarta.. it means nga ang institution dili mo gain ug kwarta/income mo break even lang which means they need money from its members to function and operate. like for example sa school nga considered non profit.. mo bayad gihapon ang estudyante pero ang ilaha gi bayad is igo ra sa tanang gasto sa pag educate nila - no profit gain.

now the question is comparing USC and lets say CIT. both provides quality education but how come USC mas daku ug tuition when in fact it should be a non-profit institution and libre ug tax while ang CIT nga is considered a business mas barato gihapon ug tuition fee bisan nag bayad sila ug tax?

of course dapat dili na i tax ang collection kay mao jud na dapat ang source of livelihood sa mga priest.. karon lang kay nag negosyo na jud sila ug dinagko like schools hehe.. para naay pang palit ug nindot nga sakyanan ug pang airconditioned nga room ug lami nga pamahaw hehe...

by the way sa RC daghan man ang congregation ang maau jud kanang mga missionary nga ni take jud na sila sa vow of poverty.. they jud na sila mo own ug private things even tv or ref ang ilaha opposite kay ang SVD (society of device word) which is supposed to be a missionary congregation pero mao na sila tag iya sa USC ug daghan na sila parishes sa northern mindanao mostly sa surigao and agusan provinces... sa kini nga congregation gi tolerate ra mo own ug mga private things nga bisan gi palit gkan sa mga collection

the church and state are separated, kung exempted ang church sa tax, hence dili moserbisyo ang government sa church...

it has been for many years, why complain now? besides it's a non-profit "organization" and people can access it for free, except for special occasions... dili rapud Catholic churches exempted.

di mani mao ang problema ang problema man ang mga politiko sa pilipinas korakot ra kau. bskan tax-san pa ang mga churches mo lambo ba kaha ta?
