Is it fair that the Catholic Church should be exempted from paying taxes?

why is the title catholic? unfair pag catholic, pro pag lain religion dili? pag tsur TS. tanan religious organization exempted sa tax FYI lng, ug tanan naa mga ways para mka funding.

di lang man siguro catholic church ra ang exempted.... asta man pud guro other churches like iglesia, muslim mosques, etc.. well, naa man pud sila'y basis for that......

tanang organization nga mudeclare as body of church, i think exempted sila sa tax, kay in the first place non-profit mana sila...naa lang churches nga sobra kaau muhatag ang mga members so mudatu ug maa ang mga leaders.

for me fair lang nga exempted sila..not only ang roman catholic.

How about USC and USJR - Religious own institution man na sila. Ayaw ko ingna Non-profit na sila.
How about Siliman University.

agree. further, its also provided in our 1987 Consitution

3. Charitable institutions, churches and personages or convents appurtenant thereto, mosques, non-profit cemeteries, and all lands, buildings, and improvements, actually, directly, and exclusively used for religious, charitable, or educational purposes shall be exempt from taxation.
