about animal fats.. hmm.. i dunno.. animal fat is saturated fat, nya mao man ni supposedly makapataas sa LDL..
hmm.. about high cholesterol = heart disease, maybe what they meant was dli total cholesterol ang sole parameter for predicting cardiovascular risk.. there are 2 main types diba, LDL and HDL, and it doesn't always follow nga high total = high LDL.. high total but high HDL is a possible scenario.. i've read nga the cholesterol ratio is a better predictor of your cardiovascular risk (source: Cholesterol ratio: Is it important? - MayoClinic.com).. what i'm driving at is "dli ang total cholesterol muy predisposing factor, but ang cholesterol ratio."
i hope you got what i meant kay galisod sad kog explain.. wahaha.

...but its true, saturated fat is a bad thing and it does cause heart problems but here's the twist...its actually carbs that cause an increased production of saturated fat to go into your bloodstream while actually CONSUMING saturated fat lowered the presence of itself in the bloodstream.
