I read reviews of altec models, mu overpower man ang base noise over the finer details of the sound...

Mas mu prefer ko anang clear ang satelites og output and less bass noise. akong old altec models gi low gud nako maayo ang subwoofer. Same issues gihapon ang current models like before.

diba Creative maayo man sila mu make og kana clear quality but not bassy models.. unsa maayo?

sa Logitech? i know nindot Logitech sa higher ends but mahal ra kaayo para nako.

suggestions? those that are actually using or have heard the unit?

Pwede mana nimo ma control ang volume sa subs you can lower it down to your hearts content, If you dont want the base then just get a 2.0 system.
