i believe if sa CLEAN mode sa amp ka mu sak2x plus ang EQ nimu 5-5-5 (1-10), u would most likely get the sound you want since neutral naman ni and u would rely on ur modeler to shape ur sound dba?

mind lang 2 things(maybe factors sad ni sa imung sound soul-search):

1. the characteristics/profile of the amp u plug to
ex. fenders have sharp crisp tone while marshals have strong grit and presence (research lang sa internet)

2. type of guitar u have
ex. if ibanez ka,makatabang nang marshal tone if u want a whole sound

mga musicians sa gawas made this a whole science that they wouldnt play anywhere else without their rigs & cabinets. pinoy man ta so improvise lang

Its still a mystery for me kng unsaon ang usa ka amp mhimu nga neutral ra... kai pra ing sak2x sa gadget/amp modeler dili na m usab ang timpla kai naa na bya kai amp cab na na pili sa pg timpla pa lang sa imu amp modeler....

Naa ko na gamit nga effects sa una boss sa ako amigo baratuhon ra bya to bog at ug tingug kuha kaayu ang timpla sa siakol nga gabas2x pino sya lahi ra sad sa metal zone plastic ra man gli ang iya case pero ang naka nindot 2 iya out pwede 2 ka amplifier ang gamiton ang usa clean o baypass ra to permi, ang usa eg on nimo sa effect ang 1 ra ka out maoy ma usab.. ana ko nindot ne da f kaw ra 1 guitarista kai ang bypass atu e series nimo ug delay, flunger etc. para mura naa nag rythm.. Na limot sad ko unsa ang brand.

sa ako im using line 6 pod xt live... naa mi songs na daghan gamit modulations and etc... i set my patches with no mic placement, no cab model, etc... when plugging to a different amp i dont mind tweaking the multi effects on stage as is nalng cya... i tweak the knobs sa amp nalng using the clean channel using my distortion as my basis, kay if it sounds good sa distortion much more sa clean hehehe... and i see to it na walay reverb or anything sa amp...

pero naa jud Amp na will sound shit jud, especially on other guitar tunings... like the low drop tunings mapili ra amp makahandle sa low freq sa sound ang uban mura nag mo gargle hehehe...

and try setting your patches or settings with the band, esp the dirty tones... para ull know if ni cut through ba sa mix imo distort... naa ko mabantayan ubang gitarist when sila guitar ang gatingog, ok pa, but with the band na, nahanaw na ilang sound... no offense meant

mao ni akong mix sa akong distort... post lang bahalag yabo hehehe

mao sad ni advice sa aq migo bro... sa mid lang tanan ang EQ pra neutral.. wala pa sad nq ma suwayi kai wala pa mi gig rn... pro mao lagi na nga pinoy man lagi ta... walai da nga rig ig tukar mao mg lisod.... lahe2x man ang amp kada 2kar gud.... nya m ikog ta mg hulat mga tao knus.a ta m sugod kau punay rata adjust2x sa tingog... hehehe tnx bro

@murdocman12 hehe no problemo dude. glad to know u have a critical ear on sound and its a sign of professionality. dont take the lack of resource in the bar-sound systems negatively lang uy. dri man sad ta mabaid for improvisation.

and also it doesnt have to be so difficult. simplify lang gud ur expectations.. there is no need to worry so much about the amp sound since u know u cant control it. just stick to the neutral rule. more or less, ud get the sound closer if not accurate. kung digi imung peds, stay clean in the amp with the mid-rule (keep ur patch eq's consistent althroughout). if not, same thing. if not satisfied, pagdag amp. solb dba? keep it up! people can learn form this

Be yourself lng brad. Wa laing mkhilabot nimu kay ikaw ramay naa sa stage. loosen up lng jud niya ENJOY!

About sa imu gadgets...

1.) Double check lng gyud before tukar para all set tanan. Lisod2x na imu kay digital na o sagol analog? mas maau kng imu ifamiliarize imu self sa laing2x amps kay tanan d pareha ug tingog. At least kng huyang nka sa amp, saun ra itimpla kng mkonento ka.

2.) Kng digital imu gamit, mas maau kng mexperimento ka kng naa ka sa nu para mfamiliar ka ug ang timpla kay imu jud! Google lng para kkuha dayon.

3.) Quick setup kng naa naka sa stage...5mins tops! Kung pwede ituno daan tanan. Mas maappreciate na sa organizer/s kng pas2x mo msetup para on-time tanang bands. Hehehe...

4.) Ginawa ug lawm...Kng pwede ayaw kaigog ug timpla samtang naa sa stage...para mkuha jud imu desired TONE.

5.) ENJOY! Yaw kconscious sa taw ngtanaw nimu kay kana sad ngtanaw, ngandoy pud na na naa pud cla sa stage para mkatukar. Consider yourself lucky for given the 15-20 or 30mins of fame na mkatukar mo...

mastera sa way gadgetay. ang amp nanana gamay effects pataban kana sa mastera then ok na gani sulay simple lang sa na gadget. make it simple.ayaw padala sa uso na murag keyboard ang gadget na deli diay kamao mu templa pag live igo ra mu pislit duha ka FX.

1.a good clean sound is very important,esp. if you're using pedals jud.
2. since diff ang mga sound setup sa different gigs, and most of us don't carry our amps and other gears around, it would be to have a good eq,noise gate and preamp in your rack so you can tweak the tone to your characteristics.
3. invest in a good set of cables.usually an afterthought but they can affect your tone greatly.

then, experience lang jud.you'll get it in time.
