    @All

    Please do not turn this thread into a Buy & Sell section.
    We have dedicated subforums here to do business.
    Thanks.

    Is there really a Cebu chapter of the IPMS? If there is, asa man ang venue sa meeting. Or kung wala, can we create the Cebu chapter. I believe there is a need for the Society chapter to encourage scale model enthusiast based here in Cebu.

    I started scale modeling in the early 90's, informal kaayo ang pagsulod nako sa hobby. Now that I have more time to spare, ning serious nako. Although naa nako mga projects before, kulang sa expert touch. Hand painting ug can painting ako gigamit sa una.

    Akong gusto sugdan ma ang mga Armour sa WWII. Starting sa M1 Combat Car. Built during the end of WWI. according to my research, mao kini ang blueprint sa mga modern armours nga nahimo for WWII.

    Nakita nako sa internet na mao ra ang nag baligya sa M1 Combat car. Commander Models kits Please let me know kung naa pay uban makuhaan.

    Mao kana na akong avatar ang M1 combat car. And to start with the project, nangandam pud ko sa akong mga gamit.

    Below are some pics that I would want to share with you guys.

    Good morning IPMS-Cebu. You are all experienced modelers and I was wondering if you can help me understand how to work with Tamiya Epoxy Putty (Smooth Surface). Before I posted here and in Gunpla Addiction, I Googled and Youtubed but can't find many tutorials on how to use it. Some tutorials even said to use vaseline.

    Can you share some tips on how to make it seamlessly blend with the surrounding surface?

    What I did

    Initial application: I used water to moisten the putty and used my finger/toothpick to shape.

    After it has cured: I used 1000 grit sandpaper and base sa akong mata ok na pero when I applied primer/paint, you can see the imperfection.

    Thanks a lot.

    You will need a cutter (I used x-acto or scalpel) but require a careful sculpting. then use the sandpaper. You can use the Tamiya glue to cover the seam. These are just my approach to correct those.
