the hotspot idea is to develop the market for the student level. we did some study on this. most of the students lives in the vicinity of the school. but some have bought their own pc, but due to the landlady or homeowner, dili mosugot taod ug phone/dsl line coz muhawa nya dili mobayad, then silay makbayd. but if he spent for the pc then they could well buy the Wlan. nagkabarato na biya... naa na tag 980

there is also a study that of an internet station within the school, na hulog hulog, mura jukebox connected wirelessly throught the AP in the school. the system actually is a high power one (AP) that can cover 5kms radius... covered in and out the campus

actually, it doesnt only cover the campus. but the whole area surrounding the school. Its like hitting two birds with a shotgun...... hehehehe... we just hope that the school would not charge a hefty price for having their roofs rented. this will bring the prices down and the bandwidth up

nindot ni kung dili mo-offer ug prepaid ang SMARTbro. Technical/engineering schools in Cebu or practically all engineering schools nationwide has a SMART cell site inside the school campus. unsaon na lang kung butangan nila ug SMARTbro. alkanse na ang imo negosyo...
hulog-hulog internet? kita ko ug SMARTbro on a trisikad(complete with batteries).unsaon na lang kaha kung mo uso ni sa mga school's vicinity or inside the campus?

as for the AP its a trade secret hehehehe. we know that most of the ISP here are putting up AP on the school campus, such as smart. but were not doing it in such a way that students or any user per se, will be limited to only 1 site. if your near any school that we put up the AP then you can have access. We will be putting up another system in Cagayan then f you guys are from there then you can still use your card.
We know it will be an uphill battle but so what! were trying our best to support the IT in cebu.
