Well for me there are only 2 important factors in SEO esp for Big G (Google), thats Good Quality Content and Good Quality Backlinks to your site.

Always remember "CONTENT IS KING" .

And also i notice some people esp katong mga nag LB (LinkBulder) na if mag blog commenting man mo pls check sad tawon if ang blog where you post ninyo ang inyong link is naka do follow oi, coz some di gud mag check if naka nofollow ba or dofollow na mga blog

I learned SEO when I was in 4th year college that time I started to work in a web development company who has an SEO too. I don't have any knowledge about it before for it's not being thought in school. Until now, I'm still working as an SEO. Nindot sad ni sya mag home base. bro, there's no institution that teaches SEO.. for most of us here. We learn through the net and experience everything.. So i suggest you set aside some hours to surf the net and search SEO materials and study them. Hope this helps!
