I checked on the title and the content of the thread. No matter how many times I read it, it means the same thing to me. The author’s partner preference is this and that. So yes, it’s open for a discussion.

I don't think I'm the only one who disagreed with the author. Oh, by author I didn't mean you dang.

Which woman or man who reads this thread wouldn't get to be inspired to also aspire for the same qualities he/she is looking for in a man/woman? I guess I am just a bit biased because I have been there and done that! I went through the stage of really aspiring for these qualities but later proved myself wrong.

There is only one thing I learned, there are no such things as perfect relationships as there are no perfect individuals. Yes, you would strive to be one. But unless someone accepts you for who you truly are, no ifs, no buts, only then will the relationship flourish.

My advice: Quit looking for perfection in anyone. If someone changes because of you and your influence, it's a bonus. But then, love, without any condition. This by far will make you a great partner!

Expectations breed frustrations, in the same manner, looking for ideals today will only result to heartache, if not manic depression. hehe. Too many people forget that relationships are like businesses - you don't run into it blindly with your heart on your sleeve; logic plays a big part, too.
