Well you need to live with it as USB3.0 and SATA3 will eat up a PCIe lane when used.
That is true. but for me the biggest advancement SSDs bring that i really look forward to is the RAID 0 feature. This is because of the apparent SSD reliability and the performance gain of putting ur hdds in array is simply irresistible to me. If they take up PCIE lanes....
Suya sad ko aning SSD for faster reboot times but after I've reboot my computer wala nay gamit ang SSD kaayo.
SSDs are generally better at everything (except price and storage capacity at this point) compared to magnetic drives. Reliability, read/load times, even write times are better now. You will notice it even running games. It's just that the price and capacity at this point is prohibitive to the regular user. Even i haven't plunged to SSDs cuz i don't find them mature enough to my liking yet.
I many use my rig now for games, loading times maybe 4-5 seconds faster so mao na walay gamit sa akoa after reboot.
