its a different situation when you say "i rather not get my kids to college since they wont need it anyway in the future".. or you say. "i cant let my kids go to college..d nya nko makaya ang tuition." in judgement day you could always say "well, atleast i tried"

from someone who didn't finish college (1st year) because he has to send his kids to school. worked hard to get to where he is now with God's help. He educated himself.

now this is what im talking about... he has his reason from stopping. then he worked hard to send his kids to school. we want to see our kids successful.. engineer, doctor, or whatever that maybe.

lets not drag our kids from our past mistakes or difficulties. besides its always nice to have a title in every name... ex. :my sons name is engineer eng eng eng or my daughters name is doctor doc doc doc.

ok my bad.. but the thing is.. ang title sa thread is "forget college, start working now". you get the idea that college is useless one way or another according to TS. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY COLLEGE BE F*CK UP SINCE THERE IS MUCH GREATER FUTURE IN DOING SO MUCH THAN STUDYING AND LEARNING MORE ON THINGS TO MASTER YOUR PLANS?

i mean. read this :

lawyers, doctors, even wealthy businessmen went to college just to master there art in business.

and this:

start a business suicide? you need to learn those
work for charity you need social studies/welfare degrees on those
travel the world you need money also on those.. guess you need to work
create art either you know that stuff or go to school to master it more
master a game its not really called business or work, its called hobby
write a book you need proper english for that, college teaches those
make people laugh clowns do that. not businessmen.

well in my world, anything idiotic could never be interesting.

if you care to understand the relevance of the thread, the least you can do is read the article referred to in the article that is being shared in this thread, rather than throw your weight around with your smoky thoughts..

the argument posits that starting work instead of college is a practical option.

if you do not understand that, then go on your way. why waste your energy trying to understand a concept that you do not agree?
