photo 1. horizon, dali rani ma fix in PS![]()
photo 2. I love silhouettes. If I did this photo, I'll take this photo from a much lower perspective and cover the sun with the person. Para mas emphasize iyang gi buhat and mas klaro ang iyang silhouette against the setting sun. (or rising sun?)
photo 3. check your horizon gyud if landscape shots. dali ra ni ma fix. I make this mistake too.If you were using a GND filter, maybe this would have been better. What's the subject of this photo?
thanks2x dbgg1979 sa CCs...
photo1. no pp. watermark lang. coz for me murag ok nman ang color ng sky.
photo2. i'll try that next time, pero ang goal ko sa pic is makita ang sun.
photo3. ND1000 gamit nako. trial and error stage. wala gyud sya specific na subject.
cge bro. thanks2x.. i'll take note of those 2 things... Horizon and Silhouettes.. try ko pp if mada...![]()
This is a nice thread.
Palm Sunday at Baguio Cathedral
C&c please
By definition I initially stated in the first post, this one does not belong here![]()
more like an architectural shot to mehttps://www.istorya.net/forums/photog...ts-anyone.html
still, my comment on the photo as an architectural shot
- I like architectural shots taken in their proper perspective. No tilted shots. I want to see the building's beauty, art, design & size.
- Distracting ang kanang mga greens. Cross na for Palm sunday?
**These are just comments and you may or may not take them. My advice is based on things I would have done if I were the one shooting and does not necessarily mean that it should be taken as a standard & correct procedure.![]()
Share ko ug landscape in B&W
The Mangroves at Cordova by dbgg1979, on Flickr
This was taken during my first visit to the mangroves area (or second?) in Cordova. My initial reaction was, wtf? Yes, mao na akong first reaction. I mean, other than the mangrove seedlings, the entire place is bare! And it was an overcast day so no long exposure clouds for me. After almost an hour of walking around the place, I leaned down to rest. That's when I saw the pattern
I enjoy taking photographs in silhouette so I decided to make this photo, B&W.
taken during a landscape photo trip with IPC buddies.

Maayong buntag sir! Ganahan ko mo visit sa choco hills dahDugay naman to since my last.
comments
photo 1: GND filter, exposure fusion or HDR para mo hayag2x ang choco hills. Ako sa una nga wala pako filter ga AEB rako and either I fuse them manually in PS or pag uso sa HDR apps, HDR na ako gi gamit pero dili artsy style like what is common now. Enough lang nga makita ang areas in the shadow
photo 2: horizon :P
