some rare birds that I was very lucky enough to have photographed

The Chinese Egret is known to be numbering only at around 2500 to 3400 in the world. Their population is dwindling due to loss of their natural habitat.


The Asiatic Dowitzer. This was my only shot of them because as I was crawling towards them they flew. Luckily I made a safety shot from afar.


This is one of the common ones.

Great work gents. Were these photographed in Olango? Also there are three types of birds. Migratory, resident and endemic.

too bad my lens was not long enough to shoot those other birds from afar, not as long as the one used by Recon25.

...sad that this heron's right eye was torn, i don't know what caused such tragic matter

also noticed that naa brace ang tiil sa bird, ingon sa mga tigbantay kay marker na sa mga birds to monitor ilang population and kung how often cla mag balik2x sa olango

so far, in my experience, this is the best sunset that i have witnessed
wala jud ko nka tingog and morag na frozen ko ato na moment.
minutes after I took that shot kay nindut jud kau ang sky, dugay kau ko nka change ug lens - mao na nag self-portrait nlang ko aron naa souvenir
