depends on a lot of things really, most especially the kind of girl you'll be taking (i.e. does she like this and that, blah blah). and the mood. for just those kooky moments, just get some finger-friendly takeouts, go to some secluded place with a nice view and eat kinamut style (using chopsticks will also do).

personally, i like less crowded places. a place where you can talk and actually hear each other.
1. Little Saigon Big Bangkok in Guadalupe
2. Anzani/Bellini up in Nivel Hills, a bit pricey though.
3. Neo Neo in Gorordo beside Kia Motors
4. Dong Juan in A.S Fortuna
5. The Gallery - lots of choices here, Vienna Kaffehaus, etc.
6. Chikaan at Salinas Drive - usahay daghan tawo
7. Emerald Isle Irish Bar and Restaurant, Piazza Elysia, Talamban
8. Matias' Inato Food Haus at corner of A.S Fortuna/H. Cortes - IMO, best balbacua in town
