What worries me is the N95's battery life. They are using N80's 850 mAh. The fact that it gave N80 battery problems, how more N95's ultra feature. Of course, if you aint a power user, it will last longer, though whats the use of getting such phone if you aint gonna use most of its great feature anyway?

Nope.. even with the teens.. Nokia isnt a choice for them.. Motorola Razor, yes.. And its a bit more expensive using SMS often than Calling..

Like I said, Nokia is just starting out here.

This is a great phone! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these babies. But I was wondering... Would the GPS work in the Philippines? So far, I haven't heard anyone using GPS here in Cebu...

Just hope that there won't be any problems with the phone unlike SE P990. But as early as now, i wonder why nokia keeps the low capacity battery when they know in fact that it would give the users some problems.

Cuz if they put a stronger battery, people will whine that its too thick. Also, its a good business move.

i consider myself a heavy user...N80 would last me 2 days of heavy use...of course on the 2nd day i have to charge coz it will die out later in the afternoon. as comparison, SAP, P800 and P900 would only last 4 to 6 hours for me. 2pm id be charging it again and again towards the end of the business day. sometimes if i stay out late i still get battery drain while im out partying... N80 battery isnt that bad. i get 4 days power in seldom used.

BTW, it doesnt use the same battery. N80 uses 820mah BL-5B (not 850mah) liion battery.
    the N95 uses 950mah BL-5F liion battery.

also we can't count out the new N95 with its high tech features and capabilities. it may be possible they might have improved on power usage.

GPS works anywhere in the world...thats why its called Global Positioning System
ive been playing around with GPS systems here in the philippines some 4-5 years already.
even tried out those GPS attachements on Palm...ligaw sad mahal lang kaayo hehe. for me it isnt practical.
those devices never picked up in popularity though...however magellan and other models made by Trimble, Garmin and Leica have been more sucessfull especially to those trekers/adventurers and yatch owners.
their are many GPS applications out there. Nutech Solutions at the 3rd level SM city near cinema 5 offer GPS solution for security and keeping tabs on ur car/delivery trucks/etc. check them out
