This is not to discourage anyone but rather to show the reality of what it really takes to have a business and make it grow.
Everybody wants to have a business evident here on this thread, on books, and advices. Why not? The potential of earning in business is much better than having a job. However, what most people didn't see is the "price" that we should pay to start a business. Business requires expertise, time, effort, and money (to name a few). In short, it is never easy. The mistake that many people make is engaging in business focusing solely on profit and not having any backup plans in case the business goes down. So before engaging in one, be sure to equip yourself first well.
If you feel that you are not yet ready to start a business, stay on the sidelines and invest in knowledge and experience before starting one. Don't start a business with the thought of it is better than employment because employment is still way better than a failed business because of negligence (not taking any consideration about the "price" to pay).
I may have to agree on some points. Business is not for everybody..BUT there are reasons why.
The advocates of entrepreneurship educates people who may have the skill & the required resources but have the wrong mindset. Stuck in corporate hierarchy.
I was once this before. Not until I learned it for myself.
Here are a few types of people that are not for business:
1. Those people who believe you need a 'real' financial capital to start a business.
2. Those people who feel comfortable about employment because it 'seems' stable.
3. The older people & those with personal families.
The older you grow, the more coward you become to start a business.
4. Those people who are afraid to take risks. Who doesn't want hardships. Who wants easier things.
5. Those people who are not comfortable with learning new things. I tell you, you don't need to know everything to start a business.
There are business opportunities out there that don't require big Financial Capital, you need only the effort and time and investing on yourself. For me personally, it is good to experience first in a business of meeting people.
Invest first into psychic income, learn how to increase your psychological wallets and know how to expand your territories. T_T! I admit it is very though at first, but it is very worth it.
Build your mindset first, the money and profits will just soon follow.
With this kind of skill where ever you go and build business, you can do it anytime. But it is really tough at first because you need to adjust, but it is worth it.
OT: Hmm most of the people who succeed in business have an expereince into Marketing especially into Financial Services. Hmmm! that;s what I have observed, they have the expereince in selling door to door. That is why every time a saw salesman that knock on my door, I always entertain them because I know how much they pay the price for their efforts.

I do both as of the moment. Challenging. Kapoy. But worth it. Rewarding.
Hopefully mka resign nko but not now kay lingaw man sa ko work kay naa didto ako pinakadako na market.

magnegosyo jd ang nindot. dn if wala pa ka experience attain training, seminar, read books, research about business. kay ang mag trabaho kay fixed income dn ang boss ra madato. naningkamot ta sa butang na dili ma atoa whereas magbusiness ta maningkamot ta pero ma ato man na kay ato man na negosyo.
Keep your day time job and start a small business.. Just increase your cash flow. Build an income generated asset before you quit in your job..
Wealth Is What You Save, Not What You Spend
Want to be a millionaire? Don't overspend and use debt wisely.
"Wealth is more often the result of a lifestyle of hard work, perseverance, planning, and, most of all, self discipline."
"The wealthy don't spend their wealth on discretionary purchases,"
"They get rich by maximizing the value of their investments."
Recommendations for accumulating wealth:
Live below your means: People with high incomes who spend all that money are not rich; they're just stupid.
Plan: That means plan for today, tomorrow and 30 years after retirement. Take time doing it too and spend time monitoring it every day. Use budgets and stick to them.
