Holy week work issues

Me EMPLOYER says we should be HERE in the CLINIC on APRIL 21 MAUNDY THURSDAY and APRIL 23 BLACK SATURDAY!

Issue 1: It is RED on the CALENDAR so it is supposed to be a NON WORKING HOLIDAY, Right?

Issue 2: It is not a part of her VOCABULARY to DOUBLE PAY us during HOLIDAYS!

Issue 3: Ang DENTIST daw WALANG HOLIDAY!

Uhhhhhhhhhm..... isn't there something in the LABOR CODE that says something about this? Can anybody help me just in case he/she gets into an argument with me cause seriously, I don't have plans na magabaan ko sa ginoo ana na mag WORK ko during the days that he is still DEAD!

Can I just hear your views on this because it is really bothering me and kind of pissing me off!

psst au.. calma lang. hehe. wait ha, as far as i know ok ra man ka mag work those days as long as they pay you holiday pay actually.. if it's a red letter day, then i believe the employer has the options to either not let you come to work on those days or pay you double...

Thursday - Holiday (if u work ) -> double Pay
Friday - Holiday (If u work)-> double Pay
Saturday - Ordinary day but seems weekend naman siya so most employees have no work.

Bdway d ka nahan mag vacation? Y bothered to work in Holiday?

Hi guys and thanks for your VIEWS! Nabalaka lang jud ko bah kay I mean, I have asked all my other DENTIST friends whether they have their own clinic or working for an employer and most of them say na THEY ARE CLOSED and "Halaka! Pahuway sad tawn mo uy kay patay ang Ginoo that time. Magabaan baya mo ana!" Pero if ako pasultihun, puslan man nga dili siya mu DOUBLE PAY, then fine bye and sorry! I am not gonna be there in the CLINIC on Holy Week! Just paying my respects to the Lord!
