Hello guys im selling one of my Monster Chest freezers Haier Brand Model BD-518A
Date of purchase September 23 2009

Market Price: 27,000 pesos

Years of Use: 1 year and 6 months as of April 2011

Condition of Unit: 100% Working, NEVER been repaired. Fast Freezing time, Highly energy Efficient. only need 225 watts of power and only consumes 2.44 kw/ 24 hours (approximately 24 pesos per day). amazing freezing power!!! temperature can go way down at -25 degrees Celsius EASY!!! your regular house fridge can barely even go at -8 degrees celsius. exceptional insulation, experienced power outage of 12 hours and the contents inside the freezer is still rock frozen with little signs of thawing around the compartment.

anyway guys another fact why chest freezers are better than upright freezers.

They are cheaper compared to upright freezers.

They Require less energy to operate due to design. why? fact: cold air is heavy, if you use an upright freezer, everytime you open the door about 30% of the cold air escapes which in turn requiring the compressor to run again, to compensate on this problem upright freezers with the same volume as there chest type counterpart has more powerful compressors that requires more energy to operate. and thus higher electric bills.

They last longer: chest freezers doesn't work as hard compared to upright freezers. since they don't loss cold air that much due to design and insulation, it's compressor doesn't need to run all day increasing it's operational lifespan.

They are more versatile: try fitting a whole lechon on an upright freezer without chopping it hehehe....
