This issue reminds me of the Simala scandal. I don't know if that was even true or just some false accusation but one thing was certainly noticeable - kung issue gani batok sa kaparian, mawashout ra gihapon overtime. tsk!

with regards to the ad, i will share with CBCP's move.. though i found the ad cute but not suitable for the younger viewers esp kay ilang model mga bata.. IMHO

- What if dili mga PARI ang ni duso about the NEGATIVITY of the advertisement ? Mo uyon gyud cguro mo since dili man pari .
- What if ang CATCHY na advertisement is OK sa inyo but not to THOUSANDS or MILLIONS of kids who might MISINTERPRET it na it is ok to do that . Of course thus the reason why it is CATCHY mao gani sakay mo sa front seat sa McDo and no , this is nothing against McDo either but sa AD lang nila .
- Lastly , this is a forum . Everything are OPINION BASED since these are all subjective to who reads , analyzes , ponders , comprehends , interprets the message so stop the foul and insulting words you have on priest . Cge mo ug HYPOCRITE here , APIL APILON there , etc na labaw pa man ta sa tanan pod .

I better see replies here that incorporates ideas and constructive criticisms why UYON ka sa or why DILI ka UYON . Other than that , I will give WARNINGS and you know what are WARNINGS .

Mao nang kusog kaayo ang criticism against sa CBCP ani na issue kay the priests haven't been acting like paragons of morality lately (scandals, luxurious lifestyle, etc). if it were the MTRCB or the DSWD who pulled out the ad, I'd probably still disagree with them, but not as harshly as I would against priests.

<<I have a 6-year-old niece who found the advertisement "cute." I don't think there was anything malicious about the ad. It was tasteful and innocently charming, and judging by the kid's reaction, I think children would see it no more, no less. Most likely, ang mga adults ra ang makakita ug malisya ani. Ang mga innocente na bata would probably just react the way they would to a soapy soap opera clip. And if the ad somehow inspires "puppy love" among the youngsters, then I then really don't see the harm in that. Parents just need to guide them, and mold it into close friendship. As far as I could remember, uso na man tong uyab2x sauna sa elementary pa, and the worst that happened was a lot teasing ra man from other kids. If we want to truly know kung how this ad would impact kids, then we better ask the kids themselves. I highly doubt na nag-consulta ni sa mga bata ning mga paria ni before sila nag-decide to pull off this stunt.

It is plain inappropriate to be in a BFGF relationship at such a young age. Children should devote their time and money elsewhere.. to their family, study, play etc .

Its either you don't read child development books about child sexuality and gender differentiation. I would rather want my son to be able differentiate a female from a male.


Its not actually a GFBF relationship in the concept of adults. While SEXUAL INTERCOURSE maybe a part of GFBF relationship between ADULTS that is not the case when kids talk about GFBF relation in their level.

I think you should spend some time with your child in school and see how kids interact with each other para makasabot ka sa concept.

I don't see it in the commercial in behalf of the other people here who doesn't see anything wrong about it.... What I see clearly here is hypocrisy and sakay sa kasikatan.

Dili man tingali ang ank ang biga-on dili man maghuna huna ug hugaw ang bata. ANg mga daku man ang magbutang butang ug hugaw sa hunahuna sa bata. LOL.
