by the looks of the pics posted and the testimonies of many disgruntled vacationers, it seems that ocean bay is one of the worst resorts in cebu... thanks for the heads up...

Sus! nag plan pa unta mi mag vacation dha sa Ocean bay Resort karon Holy Week kay nindot kaayu ila pics. Maau gani naka read ko ani mga testimonial sa ila client. Dapat mag renovate na sila ASAP oi para dili matagam ila mga guest. Bahala na mahal ang room rate basat sulit lang jud kaau. Mangita nalang mi lain place para vacation..

@oceanbay - instead of being defensive, mas maapreciate pa namo kung you will take measures nalang para maimprove ang place.

and i do hope naa kay blessing sa inyo management sa imo gipangsulat, bringing the name of your management. murag kung akoy manager, gifire-out ta na kas imong tinubagan. hehehe

my worst place, or not so good experience, Villa Teresita. grabe ka gubot. super gubot. as in mega gubot. murag 50 mo katao sa isa ka pool. di na ka kalangoy sa kagoot. hehehehhehe

Actually Dalaguete Tourism is working hand in hand with the resort. Like suroy2x sugbo and the coming "wonders in dalaguete.

for a representative of your company's management... youre one heck of an entertaining personel (sarcasm). good luck on doing business with that attitude sir.

ang mga reklamo dapat i consider as a challenge and a place or you to grow with. dli na dapat himuong ikalalis kay sila ang inyong na customer ug sila mismo ang hinungdan nganu naa mo. word of mouth make wonders... specially those from the management who doesnt know how to play with words...

ok ra baya ang ocean bay for 1st timers but not worthy balikan.. i had same experience pod before kay amazed kaayo ko sa ila website nindot ang place but to my dismay wa gyud mi malingaw sa dagat kay batoon samad samad gyud ang agi pun an pa sa daghang sagbot nya naa patoy bangka nga gi repair ato na time so ang ila beach front na occupy sa bangka.. pero nindot ang pool kay bisag init kaayo nindot kaligoan kay covered man..

When we went to Kota resort in Bantayan last week with my family. Nagpareserve nami og rooms and pag abot namo wala pa diay na prepare ang rooms. There were 18 of us and we waited for 2 hours before we could use the rooms. We ordered lunch which took an hour to be served. Naa gasulti namo nga ila pa daw paliton ang food outside, dunno if it was true. It was an aunt who reserved for the place, so we really didn't have any choice since libre man mi hehehe.. the worst part pa jud is gkawatan among usa ka aunt sa iyang phone, as in nawa jud ang iyang phone og sa dhang among gtawagan, nitubag pa jud ang nagkuha, it was a woman on the other line, nakit an ra daw niya ang sim sa dan and take note nakit an daw niya sa labangon, so a cousin of ours sent a death threat and guess what, the morning after nabalik ang phone sa iyang bag which is in the room. Naa jud daw kawatan dha sa Kota mostly inside job. That was the worst resort we've ever been to but despite that the beach was too die for.

i just had my worst vacation in portofino in mactan last Sunday. we were just 3 in a room (me, my husband and yaya) and they charged us Php 4100 (a night). this was good for 6 pax. they told me that if it is more than 2, i have to pay the 4100 instead of 3100. alright, given that i asked my auntie from manila who just arrived last sunday and supposed to stay in a hotel, i asked her to stay with us in portofino.

she arrived late and don't have any plans to sleep (she just want to chat all night). when i was about to sleep the aircon stopped at 3am, we don't have electricity in our room. i looked outside, and there was still lights in posts. i was calling all the numbers in the phone, but no one is answering.

to cut this long story short. the electricity was back at 6am. i asked for discount, they just gave me 10% plus they charged my auntie's entrance. she didn't even go to the beach.

never will i go there again.
