I remember back in pre-school, a cousin of mine have this crush or puppy crush to her classmate, and she would run after the poor kid shouting "Marry Me! Marry Me!"

There was no Mcdo commercial like that back then, but really the ad reminded us of those days.

I kinda like the Mcdo commercial.

For parents the point is your kid even that young knows that the difference between sexes. Like for example when they see you and your husband together, or their older brothers and sisters together with their girlfriend or boyfriend.

so you telling me that the young girl just con that little boy into buying her 25pesos french fries im sure they were aware of what BFGF relationship, if you read their lines the little boy said "expensive to have a GF" but the little girl persuaded the little boy that it isnt that expensive cause shes cheap anyway ... 25pesos french fries will do what does the little boy gain in giving his 25pesos, diba a GF. Ask yourself, is it morally correct to have a GF with that age? daghan gani parents di musugot naay uyab ilang anak sa HS or even college kani pa kaha. Call it OA for the Church but its their call to teach morality. Like i said it paint a bad image to the youth, na its ok to start a relationship earlier in life.

and that link you gave, the Church had been lenient with teens in a relationship but not with little children.

You keep saying its still a parents call, but let me tell you no good parents would allow their kids to be distracted with relationship early on with their children lives.

the blame should fall to the commercial's producer for their disregard on how young children should behave, i doubt children at that age these days wants to be in a relationship so that they could have a 25pesos french fries ? this commercial just paint bad picture to the youth minds and cheapen the meaning of relationship.

maybe its ok for some people to have their kids in a BFGF relationship at a tender age so they are pinning the Church good luck raising your kids.

you are the one making assumptions by stating that those little children are in a best friends relationship when its clearly its a BFGF relationship otherwise he would had said expensive to have a best friend or directly call each other best friend. Best friend is a give and take relationship while BFGF.. the GF usually takes everything

BFGF is not real but portrayed only as friendship to kids... thats your assumption.

no one is basing on how they raise their children from TV commercial, the point is.. parents/guardians may not be around when young children are watching the commercial and may picture BFGF relationship on young children a norm which is not appropriate. Its natural for the parents not to encourage or even discipline their children if they were having a relationship esp at that age.

by the way you respond you also agree its not appropriate. would you agree to ban that commercial?

thats why we have agency to monitor what is seen on TV or TV stations censored stuff. The blame should be on those entity promoting lewd, immoral, inappropriate etc programs.
