    lorenzoleo, dako.a na sa imo savings oi, ka nindot, hehe, pero ask lng ko, ma abot zd siguro ang point na ma insignificant na ang imong additional 1k para sa anang imo mga dagko ayu na MF? na mas maayo nlng tigomon na para e invest nlng ig market crash? or e invest nlng sa mas gamay NAVPS sa imo portfolio... or tigomon para e palit sa laen mas barato na MF or stocks... ky aron mas dako ang potential returns para sa imo 1k? ahhmm, ky sa NAVPS, mas hinay mn og growth ang mga dagko na db kysa sa mga gagmay pa na NAVPS? ky if 1.0 ang NAVPS, if mo 2.0 na, double na dayon imo investment.. kysa sa 300 ang NAVPS, layo pa ayu ang 600 NAVPS para maka double... db? sakto kaha ko ana? senxa... i think mejo kasabot na ko, pero if mao, im sure kulang pa jud ayu... hehe.

    yes, i understand na e consider lang ng MF na more of a long-term savings, dapat limtan2X lng, dapat consistent jd, like sa piggy bank nato pg bata na piso2X lng taga adlaw, hehe, pero mejo dako2X na gud ta gud so sayangan nman ta if we know na naay much better na piggy bank butangan sa ato piso... heheh.

    nindot kaayo tigumon bai para tingbon na lang ug invest inig market crash, ang pangutana, walay makatag an kung kanus a na mahitabo, when 2008 crash happened, billions were lost and nobody knew that it would happen. . . check the historical figures pod sa performance sa fund, true enough hinay ang saka sa MF as compared to investing directly in stocks, but it's a matter of choice. I don't have time to monitor daily sa stocks, ang ako portfolio sa stocks is cost averaging pod via citiseconline, for now, more on MF akoa, I'll let the experts (fund managers) do their work while I invest regularly as long as funds are available. . .

    already invested sa MF....remember sakto giingon ni ofw_cebu nga wa ni kinsa nato nakahibaw kanus a mag market crash..... so magpaabot ka nga mo crash pa? what if after 10years - 20 yrs pa.....sayang kaau imo fund nga wa gamita...imbis nga motobo wala na nagasto na or if imong g deposit sa bank gamay ra kaau ang tobo.... remember were talking here long term....... kung gusto jud ka invest inig mag crash paglahi lang daan..... in case dba? strike while the iron is hot.....

    ahh ok., thanks a lot ha.. dako jd ayu help ning istorya.net nu para sa amo na mga interesado pero wa pa alam sa inani jud.. ahm, about nlng sa bonds ko e ask, db mas secured mn sa bond, pero ofcors mas gamay jud potential profits,, gusto lang nako e ask lang onta if how affected ni sa market crash (if ever) compared sa MF? pareho ra ba effect? ky im thinking if naa problems ang market, padung mg market crash,, tyg ok ra na e transfer lng ang equity investments into bonds or safer - much secured investments,, kysa e redeem dayun or worst ma alkansi na dako nuon tungod sa market downtrend.. then e balik lng onta into equity if much safer and stable na... and sa mga nag use og cost - averaging,, dili ba mo sayangan sa inyo investments na makita ninyo na tigka gamay tungod sa market crash? yes, ma bawi ra na in long term.... pero if 30 yrs na ang value ana, then nag market crash dayun,, di mo sayangan ana? mg hinay hinay na og saka lge,, pero pila nzd na ka years para ma abot ang same amount... or inyo e withdraw?

    Bonds is very safe/secure, because risk is lower compare to equity. Bonds should be short term investment. It's not a long term like equity or balanced. Bond funds invest in government securities like treasury notes and corporate bonds and that's why it is safe.

    About investment, you must diversify so that you will not lose.....

    about your questions/concerns...

    On investing MF or stock markets, you must have goal when to redeem your gains so that you can use these funds to support your needs. Kung ganahan ka magpa-abot ug 30 years then naa ra na nimo. Kung target nimo is 10 years...then ok ra kaayo.

    It depends ra imong goals bro...that why you invest MF or Stock Market. =)
