Toki, don't believe everything you read in the news... Look deeper and see if what is being said is "self-serving" to their position in this case. Both sides are leveling allegations at the other, so take these with a grain of salt. Look to where the physical evidence leads you (not the circumstantial evidence or hearsay comments being tossed about). I thought that you said that you were waiting for the DNA analysis before deciding guilt...

Well for one thing bai you didn't see the first batch of suspects hiring people to harass witnesses. And these aren't allegations by the police. They are allegations by the witnesses themselves.

This goes back to what I said about being suspicious of "self-serving" statements.. Please tell me how you know who hired the people who allegedly contacted the witnesses? Attorneys routinely utilize their own investigators to look into their cases, including making contact with witnesses. How did they know the identity of the wits and where they were staying? Earlier reports by the police claimed that the wits were housed in a "protected" environment. If so, how were they contacted? (no details provided by police). What did the people say/do that would constitute harassment? (again, no details provided by police). Lots of blah, blah, blah. Unattributed statements have little value because they can't be readily checked for accuracy or authenticity.

On another point, this new set of witnesses were mysteriously absent during the arrest and charging of the first set of suspects. Doesn't that make you a even a little suspicious of the credibility of the current police investigation?

@Malic: I'm in no way claiming "conspiracy".. I see this more as an investigative fiasco and a travesty of justice due to incompetent police officials. No need to look at my views as being only theoretical, because there are actual blunders that can be identified by anyone with experience in criminal investigation. Easy to prove, to say the least...

opinions are welcome but not as credible as proofs and fortunately for the police you can't substantiate your allegations.
