one thing i notice in cafes in the philippines.. is that they arent that good.. they lag.. my suggestion is make the use of it... if u have the money get good computers and a good spot.. and consumers will come..

i suggest putting even a 6600GT on ur pcs.. with min. 1gig ram. good HDD space. and maybe a AMD thats a socket 939.

dont really think about the profit.. if u want to put an internet cafe.. put some kick into the system and the cafe it self.. the ambiance/pc with those both in good terms.. i tell ya.. people will come back

    sakto ka commander jacob, heheheh

sa tinoud lng paspas ang sempron64 in single application bisan pag P4 , celeron or bisan pag ang athlon64 3000+ pwede pang ma lupig in "Some corner" but ang problema gud sa sempron low ug multi tasking power, tungud guro sa 256K max cache ra anan niya, although maayo man ug single application lng bisan gaming kumbate man.

Ang apan naa man gyud mga costumer sa cafe hilig mag multi application, mag dula ug gunbound or MU, naa friendster ug youtube sa background, eminimize, mo browse sa friendster, minimize mo tubag sa MIRC or YM ba kaha, eminimized nupatukar sa youtube. diba sekwate ang sempron ani, sa dili mo too bahal namo, hehehehe joke

Ang kana pud nga P4 2.26 karon mantinil na kaayo na oyyy, kabarato sa PC ron ayaw gyud mo pag tinihik, kay ang standard sa mga new internet cafe unya nga mag open dili raba pa atras padolong rabas core 2 dou, hehehe, unya oroy mga 10 months from time nga nag start kag operate, duna rabay kina- iyas filipino na crab mentaly gyud ba, taparan gyud kag pwesto, unya palitan pag core 2 dou E6300 nga cpu mag unsa naman lng ng sempron64 3900+ or P4 2.26 nimo, mag nala putot.

At least bro ang affordable ron below 6K ang price sa CPU get a socket939 3500+ venice core, mas mature nig chip set kay dugay ng tested or ug gusto kang mag Intel get at least the 65nm Pentuim 915 2.8HGz or mag core 2 dou E6300 baka, an an onboard 6100 of nvidia chip set or ATI onbaord X300 VGA, unya na palit ug addON VGA ug dili ka ma kuntento ani, igoigo mukita kana sa imong napalit, this is for a long term upgrade sa system unya nga delimasekwate dayon. For me mas maayo pa mag start kug 4 ka PC nga quality kaysa 5pc nga mantinil kaayo for me lng na i know lain lain ang tanan

By the way kaniy usa sa akong unit, Sempron64 3100+ 1800MHz core clock "palermo" overlock to 2150MHZ w/c is now equivalent to sempron 3600+, 1 Stick 1G DDR400 Geil, Sparkle 6600, again maayo sa gaming and single aps but low in multi tasking(UPdate now running 2200MHz w/c is equivalent to sempron 3700+)

the one who started this thread does not ask for a flame war between sempron vs. celeron d vs. willematte

accordint tot THG. celeron d 2.93ghz ate the sempron 3000+ , except in single threads..and sempron ate the willemattes in 3d games and single thread apps. celeron d and sempron 3000+ down are eatin alive by the willematte in multitasking andheavy apps like video and graphics. period.challenged only by the bartons. and eatin by the clawhammers and sledgehammers.

the review does not include the legendary A64s. it's obvious. that's why the intel camp released the presscott with the canterwoor MCH, 975/965 chipsets..not the proccessor. with success in performance and downfall in heat disspitation and cost. and the AMD relesed the S939 A64/Fx series to counter it.with success.blah.blah.blah

    and so and so forth....

in short..it's not helping the man.

    i suggest for practical reasons.

u may buy the slightly used p4, just add 6200LE video card or higher. if dili kau hardcore gamer imo mga clients..

    if hardcore kau.
use the s939 300/3200+ on a an asrock dual sata board. kinda cheap but solid performer ( thers a model that comes with an ati graphics chip. )

    512 - 1gb ddr400 .cheap as the moment.
40gb hdd. sata 80gb if mada pa.
    6600le or x300 pci-express card. about 2.5k -3.2k ra na sa RACCI with 256mb ddr2 video memory.
and for monitor. use surplus. use sony.. kinda cheap at fastwin :422 3333.
these monitor are high ms seektime and great display, not to mention hd capable.

For me my suggestion is based on my 2 years+ experience in running a cafe, the true practical suggestion will only be revealed after 1 to 2 years from the time when you buy what ever specs and brands you have chosen "anha na makita ang katag" compared to the new internet cafe who are going to open their cafe close to your spot^__^.

hmmmm, never noticed flaming on the posts above pal just some give and take talks, giving some inputs which could help the threadstarter learn some in the lines.

just like what you said on claiming something......

accordint tot THG. celeron d 2.93ghz ate the sempron 3000+ , except in single threads..and sempron ate the willemattes in 3d games and single thread apps. celeron d and sempron 3000+ down are eatin alive by the willematte in multitasking andheavy apps like video and graphics. period.challenged only by the bartons. and eatin by the clawhammers and sledgehammers...........................

maybe he can get some salient inputs from it too.
