wow, kaila nko ako wa ko kaila.. please paila. e pm lang kai unfair. lol

to be honest.. apart from simply doing this to learn, there are implementations in most ORMs i've used that I don't like plus business objects in some ORMs somehow doesn't fit with the architectural design of software projects I worked. I know its selfish.. lol

Bai, if you're into oracle you could help us to build queries compatible for oracle.

@moz_k2, we could use your help in building the provider for Oracle, the reason why a provider for an Oracle database hasn't been implemented yet is the lack of technical skills of team members when it comes to oracle, not only oracle so as DB2 (but I think this is not a major issue since SQL languages across different Sql-Database are alike).

Also resources wise, I'm undecided whether to use the api provided by microsoft or the the one provided by Oracle to connect to an Oracle Database.

    Any thoughts on this?

    Thats a good question.
The thing is MS ODBC is ODBC 2.5 compliant, as far as I recall.
On the other hand oracle is 3.52 compliant.
So some oracle specific data types aren't supported by MS.
