Rule 1: First perform any calculations inside parentheses.

    48÷2(9+3)

Rule 2: Next perform all multiplications and divisions, working from left to right
    48÷2 (12) or 48 ÷ 2 x 12

    = 24 (12) or 24 x 12

u got the point or just use google to search for answers hahaha!

    please read the link:

    Order of Operations

    or this

Rule 1: First perform any calculations inside parentheses.
Rule 2: Next perform all multiplications and divisions, working from left to right.
Rule 3: Lastly, perform all additions and subtractions, working from left to right.

The link you posted is great but how you picture the equation is wrong..

48÷2(9+3)= <<--- 2(9+3) you have to simplify this first into a whole then divide 48 to your answer and you will have 2 for an answer.

If what was given is like this 48÷2x(9+3) = then you should have 288 for an answer.

Try reading that link you've posted again and you will know that the answer for this equation is 2.

until now wa pa japun sila nahuman. It's just perception guys, did you see a 48/2 or a 48 over 2(9+3). Those who answered 288 are using their calculator or maybe or haven't realized that why would it would be 48/2 when it could just be simplified to 24. And those who answered 2 have realized that way down earlier nyahahahaha

we take a / b as one term, right?
then distribute it to (c + d).. we get
    ac/b + ad/c

    now substitute a = 48, b = 2, c = 9 and d = 3..

    post your answer ^_^...

excuse me bro, gapataka lang jud ka, 1st if imo gamitun kay improper fraction (48/2) then that is considered as one variable, in short that would be a(b+c)
but that is not the equation at all because 1st of all, if that is considered one variable, then it is simplified to a 24

If solve using implied multiplication: 2
    otherwise:288

Meaning the expression itself is flawed.
And correct me if I'm wrong but you don't use ÷ in writing algebraic expression, instead you use /

    Pagpili mo
    Bonus: Basic pay * (48÷2(9+3))
    Tax: Basic pay * (48÷2(9+3))
    hehehe
